I, Zhou Wuyue, have dedicated over fifty years to the shoemaking industry.
From military supplies to serving international brands, and then to establishing my own brand,
I have always believed: True professionalism comes from long-term dedication; truly good shoes withstand the test of competition.
Today, I hope to personally pass on these experiences to everyone who loves sports.

Mr. Zhou Wuyue has devoted more than fifty years to the footwear industry, with a comprehensive career spanning military supply factories, international brands, and independent labels.
He is one of the few footwear technology experts who truly integrate design, development, manufacturing processes, and mass production across the entire value chain.
1971–1994
Founding Moment | 23 Years in the Military Logistics Field
In February 1971, I joined the Logistics Department’s Supply Production Division of the General Logistics Department and began working at Factory 3517 of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, where I was responsible for producing Liberation rubber shoes. For 23 years, I worked as a mechanical engineer specializing in rubber shoe molds and also served as a staff officer in the Armed Forces Department, gaining extensive familiarity with various types of light weapons. After years of rigorous training, I served for many years as the chief instructor for the 37mm Anti‑Aircraft Artillery Unit of the People’s Militia. Before leaving the military system, I held the position of Party Secretary at a sub‑factory. Although I was no longer an active-duty soldier, the work ethic I cultivated during my 23 years in the military supply factory laid a solid foundation for my later career. In the second half of 1994, I left the military system and came to Shanghai on my own, where I teamed up with international friends to venture into international trade, traveling back and forth between Shanghai, Nanjing, the Jiangsu–Zhejiang region, and Harbin, engaging in export trade.
2006–2018
Transformation | Twelve Years of Experience Building an International Brand
In 2006, I was fortunate enough to encounter the international brand BUTTERFLY (Butterfly Professional Table Tennis Shoes). Over the years, I had the privilege of participating multiple times in the early biennial World Table Tennis Championships, custom‑making table tennis shoes for international players. For 12 years, I served as the Chief Shoe Technical Advisor at BUTTERFLY’s headquarters, overseeing the entire process from design and development to mass production and export.
2018–Present
Innovation & Transformation | The Birth of the NTS Brand
In 2018, I founded my own brand, NTS. My greatest wish is to leverage my years of experience in shoe manufacturing to serve both professional and amateur table tennis players at home and abroad!
