In 2016, Mr. Zhou Wuyue, founder of Jiangxin Pingyu, joined forces with the technical team from the headquarters of the internationally renowned brand BUTTERFLY to visit the Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Team and custom‑make professional table tennis shoes for Zhang Jike, a Chinese table tennis star and world champion. This collaboration was one of the most representative professional endeavors in his career.
During the customization process, the team conducted a systematic analysis centered on Zhang Jike’s competitive habits, footwork characteristics, force transmission mechanisms, and foot morphology. Every detail—from the design of the sole pattern and the distribution of supportive structures to the selection of cushioning materials—was ultimately judged by its performance in actual combat.
Mr. Zhou Wuyue served as the technical communication and translation liaison for this project, ensuring accurate communication between international technical concepts and the athletes’ actual needs. This deep level of involvement gave him a more profound understanding of the equipment requirements of high‑level table tennis players.
